Our Year 10 Italian students recently embarked on a Language Immersion Experience in the city, visiting various places such as the Museo Italiano, as well as the Piazza Italia and Coffee Machine Technologies on Lygon Street. Students had the opportunity to learn about how Italian migrants have influenced the Australian society, as well as how Italian cuisine, coffee, street art and sport apparel have become a very important part of Australian culture.
All these activities have been conducted in Italian to offer students the opportunity of a full Language Immersion Experience. Students also conversed in Italian with the various presenters and people throughout the day.
